anyways, i spent my entire evening with Tyler and his brothers. formally known as The Smith Boys. they are all quite characters and i've learned so much about myself because of them. they are all blessings in my life and i'm entirely grateful to be known as their bigger sister. one thing that they have allowed me to gain was patience. after spending my entire life with three sisters it was a big change to start spending it with three brothers.
i learned that the way guys and girls interact in a family is totally opposite of one another.
for example, in my family with all girls (and one little baby boy) we are very serene. but with all boys they are highly aggressive. it was a different atmosphere that i had to grow to become comfortable with.
Tyler is 21 and has a heart of gold. i'm love struck by the kind of man that he has came to be. he has aspirations and dreams like his father. he always keeps me laughing and comfortable at all times. the love he has for his mom clarifies to me that he will have the same love for me.
Brannon is 18, but is a kid at heart. he's energetic, hilarious and does not know how to use indoor voices. because of him i learned what young men really think about life, love, and relationships. he has the best sense of humor and always cheers me up on dreary day.
Peyton is 15 and he never seizes to amaze me. he experienced hardship early in his life but he fought through it and is now healed through the grace of God. he has came a long way and i'm so proud of how much he has endured. he may have complications with some things in life but he's still goin and tryin. has a great sense of memory that never fails. he's tough but has a sensitive heart that shows he really cares for others.
Brent is 13 and is quite a character. he's so generous and is never hesitant about lending a helping hand. he has a great way of saying the silliest things unintentionally. he's very educated and wants to follow in his father's footsteps, which is wonderful. he also knows how to carry on a great conversation, which i love.
these boys have became a part of my life and i wouldn't choose to have it any other way. i don't have favorite because they all are my favorite. each of them carry on these great qualities from both of their parents that make them who they are today. i love them just like i love my sisters and i can't wait to watch them grow up into men of God because of their incredible parents.
