vacation

currently listening to rain, itching bug bites, and getting nice whiffs of aloe vera on my skin.

it's safe to say that i'm still on vacation. i've had such a great time so far here in siesta key, florida.

i'm staying in a beautiful house that's starting to feel like home after being here for a week. there is an amazing view from every window in this house. with the beach down the road, a pool, and canal to the ocean in the backyard..everything is just so breathtaking! 

today, were taking a break from the beach. i've been there everyday and the feeling of sun poisoning is creeping on me. we've been to 3 different beaches and siesta is probably my favorite. the sand feels like flour and the water is incredibly refreshing. 

lately, my days have consisted of pure relaxation. it's really nice to step away from reality, the everyday life, and usual surroundings. it's been in the high 80's here. wouldn't mind swaping temperatures with the midwest considering it's over 100 degrees there. most of our days are spent at the beach, shopping, and seafood. i really couldn't ask for more, and i'm not sure if i want to go back home.
