New Year

i haven't blogged in forever and i would like to blame the holidays.
this time of the year is crazy for my family.
i would also like to blame my outlet for blowing the fuse in my Mac charger.
my computer is dead until i set my frugal habits aside and buy a new one.

well, my Christmas was very well spent. i don't have any family here in Ohio, which is sad during the holidays but the family i have here are by far amazing. so, that makes up my extended family absence. my favorite gift this year was a kindle fire. i love it. one of my new years resolution is to start reading more. i noticed that when i do read more often my range of vocabulary continues to grow. resulting in me speaking more like an adult rather than some valley girl.

anyways, a couple days ago someone in our San family past away and made his entrance into heaven early. it was a very sad day for us and everyone felt somber for his loss. apparently, he had a blood clog in his brain. the circulation of blood from his spine to his brain was restricted causing him to black out and then stopped his heart from continuing to pump blood. that's my knowledge from what happened. he was such a great person who made everyone laugh all the time. our family didn't think it was his time to go, but God thought otherwise.

enough of the sappy story..my grandparents, aunt and uncle are in town from California. we hardly see them because buying plane tickets for 6 is not that simple. their spending about ten days here and little do they know they are about to experience cold weather. los angeles reads 85 degrees, dayton reads 30 degrees. welcome to winter in ohio.

today is new years eve! i can't believe it. i'm in shock that the year is already over and it's about to be 2012. the year i turn 21, finally. 2011 has been quite amazing and possibly one of my best years. i'm so thankful for the friends i've made, the experiences i've gone through, my amazing boyfriend, and wonderful family.

well, things have been well with myself. i came to an agreement with myself the other day and this is a public blog about my life, opinions, and story. i have to accept criticism, opinions and thoughts from people in all directions. what i write isn't to hurt anyone, rather to be true to who i am and how i feel. so i would like to apologize now if anything i say offends you. however, i do have the right to say what i want so if you disagree the close button is right up there.

ps. i started a fashion blog. i'm beyond ecstatic because this is what i love and i get to share it with everyone :)
