but, my goal is to blog everyday and share my life with you.
i was up pretty early today because my two youngest sisters, Davina & Destiny had their orchestra concert at school. both of them are in the top three chairs in their grade. i'm extremely proud of them for working hard at what they love and earning what they deserve.
i went with my parents and baby David. of course, everyone thought David was my child. i occasionally play along because i find it amusing. i ran into all my teachers there and apparently i look so grown up that they didn't recognize me. i guess you can say that i have changed so much since then. thank goodness.
after the concert i went to work. it was a pretty laid back day which is really nice after a busy week. there has been some complications at my dads restaurant with the money drawer being short of money, and our change jar being short of money as well. there are only a couple of people that work there and we all know money doesn't just take off on it's own.
honestly, it makes me really sad. i've continuously heard that my dad is such a good boss from all his previous employees. they tell me how much he helps them with everything. but some of them still take advantage of his kindness. for everyone's Christmas gift he took them to the store and bought them all a new winter coat, plus a bonus. in addition to that he takes them out to dinner once a week. he allows so much to slip by because he wants to help people and provide them with a job because he knows how hard it is to find one.
but because my dad may seem vulnerable they still have audacity to steal. why would you want to risk your job that's paying for all your bills to steal? i'm just in awe about it because all my dad wants to do is help these guys out. he always tells them if they need to borrow money, or need him to take them some where than my dad will not second question that.
his heart is so pure and full of fidelity. he clearly puts God first in everything he does and he wants nothing more than a good team at his restaurant with no complications. but there always has to be those who fail at the agreement and it ends up bringing everyone down. i really pray for him and his businesses all the time. there are so many people with good hearts out there, but there are also many with deviant hearts.
i'm sorry i'm talking about my dad so much but i just want the world to know that he's much more than just a man, a husband and a dad. i've never seen someone work so hard for their family before. everyday he juggles owning two businesses, having rental properties, being a Pastor, going to Bible College, meeting with a friend once a week to improve his reading and writing skills and coming home to 4 daughters that cluster his mind with activities and plans. yeah, top that. it's unbelievable and i couldn't be more appreciative for what he does for our family.
he's the prime example of a hardworking man after God's heart.
